Sensient Technologies Corporation in Sauget, IL is seeking a Customer Operations Coordinator for the Colors Group. You will work with customers and internal teams to ensure accurate order entry, timely processing, and responsive problem resolution.

This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with planners, shipping, sales, and product teams, onsite five days a week, and a strong benefits program. A bachelor’s degree and 3 years of customer service experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for order administration, processing, follow-up, contract review, and customer requests for multiple business units.
• Accurately and efficiently process customer transactions such as orders, quotes, debits, credits or returns.
• Communicate with planners and shipping personnel to ensure on-time deliveries and advise customers of delays.
• Review production and shipping schedules to determine impact on customers' deliveries.
• Work with account managers, product managers, sales staff, shipping, production and lab to resolve discrepancies.
• Resolve routine customer issues and special situations, keeping managers informed.

We are looking for a Customer Operations Coordinator to support our Colors Group business in Sauget, IL. You willwork cooperatively with team members in order to service our existing customers. You will work in a team centric environment that provides opportunities for skill and career growth.

What You’ll Do:

• Be responsible for order administration, processing, follow-up, contract review, problem resolution, and customer requests for multiple business units.
• Accurately and efficiently process customer transactions such as orders, quotes, debits, credits or returns.
• Communicate with planners and shipping personnel to ensure on-time deliveries and advise customers of delays if needed. Review production and shipping schedules to determine impact on customers expected deliveries.
• Perform a variety of customer transactions such as; order entry, processing, follow-up, and contract review.
• Work with account managers, product managers, sales administrative staff as well as shipping, production and lab to resolve discrepancies/missing information.
• Resolve routine customer issues and customer requests, communicate with account managers and customer service managers regarding any special situations.
• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively while maintaining strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

What You’ll Bring:

• A bachelor’s degree is preferred, along with 3-years of customer service experience.
• Strong communication skills, including ability to capture the detail of a situation and communicate accurately, professionally and completely, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining high degrees of attention to detail, accuracy and poise.
• Effective personal time management and organization skills.
• Solid proficiency in JD Edwards (JDE) and experience in a Microsoft Office environment (Word, Excel, Power Point) is desired

The hourly rate for this position is $27.00 - $30.00per hour USD. Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions.
