Sensient Technologies is seeking a Customer Operations Coordinator to support our Colors Group in Sauget, IL. You will work cooperatively with team members to service our existing customers in a team-centric environment that promotes skill and career growth.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (preferred) and about 3 years of customer service experience, with strong communication, multitasking, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for order administration, processing, follow-up, contract review, problem resolution, and customer requests for multiple business units.
• Accurately and efficiently process customer transactions such as orders, quotes, debits, credits or returns.
• Communicate with planners and shipping personnel to ensure on-time deliveries and advise customers of delays if needed.
• Review production and shipping schedules to determine impact on customers' expected deliveries.
• Perform a variety of customer transactions such as; order entry, processing, follow-up, and contract review.
• Work with account managers, product managers, sales administrative staff as well as shipping, production and lab to resolve discrepancies/missing information.
• Resolve routine customer issues and customer requests, communicate with account managers and customer service managers regarding any special situations.

What You’ll Do:

What You’ll Bring:

• Solid proficiency in JD Edwards (JDE) and experience in a Microsoft Office environment (Word, Excel, Power Point) is desired

The hourly rate for this position is $27.00 - $30.00per hour USD. Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions.
