Job summary

AWC, Inc. is seeking a Customer Onboarding & Data Governance Manager to own the end-to-end customer master data lifecycle, coordinating Sales, Credit, AR, Legal, Logistics, and IT to ensure accurate setup and ongoing maintenance.

This role leads data validation, governance, and process design, setting enterprise standards, defining ownership, and ensuring readiness for ERP conversion. Strong cross-functional leadership and data quality discipline are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional processes involving Sales, Credit, and Finance.
• Strong process-design and documentation skills.
• Hands-on data validation, cleansing, or de-duplication experience.
• Experience with ERP data migration projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and governance of the end-to-end customer administrative lifecycle across systems and departments.
• Establish enterprise standards for customer setup, maintenance, and activation.
• Lead data validation and clean-up in preparation for ERP conversion.
• Maintain an audit trail of customer master data changes and ensure compliance artifacts are current.
• Coordinate with ERP project teams on data mapping and conversion testing.
• Define data quality standards and validation rules for customer master fields.
• Drive cross-functional accountability for timely handoffs and lifecycle ownership.
• Monitor adoption of standardized processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
