Signarama Charleston, SC is seeking a Customer & Office Coordinator for our Mount Pleasant shop. This full-time, in-person role handles front desk duties, takes estimates, writes work orders, and manages permits and invoicing. You’ll coordinate with design and production to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of custom signs.
You’ll learn the sign-building process on the job, handling office tasks while providing exceptional customer service. Monday–Friday, 8:30–5:00, in-person work.
You’ve worked a front desk, a service counter, or a busy office where the person in front of you got your full attention. You’re usually the one who catches the detail everyone else missed. Signarama of Charleston is hiring a Customer & Office Coordinator. This is the first person customers talk to when they call or walk into the shop. Most of them already know they want a sign. Your job is to listen, figure out what will work, write the estimate, and turn it into a work order the whole shop builds from. You’ll also handle office work like permits and invoicing. We take on the signs other shops pass on: complex, custom work where one wrong measurement costs real money. What we quote is what customers pay, and the sign goes up looking the way they pictured it, on the day we promised. That’s why customers who could pay less elsewhere keep calling us. This is a full-time, hourly, in-person position at our shop in Mount Pleasant, Monday through Friday, 8:30 - 5:00.
A property manager calls about a sign for a new tenant. A walk-in wants something for a grand opening and isn’t sure what’s possible. You ask the questions that get to what they need, suggest a sign that will work, and write up the estimate. Once they say yes, you write the work order clearly enough that design and production never have to guess. Between customers, you help submit permits and track where each one stands, send invoices, file completion photos from finished installs, and check in deliveries. Every job here is custom, so a misspelled name or a wrong number on a work order ends up on a sign. You’ll learn the products and the process on the job, and you’ll take on more as you’re ready.
