Signarama Laguna Hills seeks a friendly, organized Client Account Specialist to deliver excellent customer service, support sales, and coordinate in-house marketing. You will help customers identify their signage needs, recommend solutions, and guide orders from the initial inquiry through completion.

This role combines customer relationships, proactive outreach, and close coordination with our production team. Compensation: $20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or sales is preferred.
• Experience in sign shop or graphics industry is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the first point of contact for walk-in and telephone customers.
• Assess customer needs, recommend sign products and services, prepare quotes, and assist with the ordering process.
• Accurately complete work orders and obtain customer approvals and deposits.
• Follow up on outstanding quotes and notify customers when orders are ready.
• Support customer satisfaction through attentive service, timely communication, and thank-you cards.
• Request referrals, record contact information, and follow up with referred prospects.
• Represent the Signarama brand professionally at all times.
• Conduct outbound calls to prospective, existing, and inactive customers.
• Develop prospect lists using business directories, networking groups, local publications, and other lead sources.
• Prepare and coordinate direct mail campaigns for prospects, inactive customers, and club members.
• Maintain regular contact with the store’s top 100 customers.
• Coordinate recurring promotional campaigns and specials.
• Keep customer and prospect records accurate and current to support consistent follow-up.
• Work closely with the production team to clarify order requirements and answer questions about active work orders.
• Maintain positive vendor relationships, request quotes, and follow up on in-progress orders.
• Assist with quality control by reviewing order details and completed work for accuracy.
• Support the owner with reports, closeouts, invoices, and daily, weekly, and monthly paperwork.
• Cross-train in other areas to support smooth store operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales

• Serve as the first point of contact for walk-in and telephone customers.
• Assess customer needs, recommend sign products and services, prepare quotes, and assist with the ordering process.

• Follow up on outstanding quotes and notify customers when orders are ready.

Customer Outreach & Marketing

• Conduct outbound calls to prospective, existing, and inactive customers.
• Develop prospect lists using business directories, networking groups, local publications, and other lead sources.
• Prepare and coordinate direct mail campaigns for prospects, inactive customers, and club members.
• Maintain regular contact with the store’s top 100 customers.
• Coordinate recurring promotional campaigns and specials.
• Implement marketing initiatives from the Marketing Planner in collaboration with the owner or marketing representative.
• Keep customer and prospect records accurate and current to support consistent follow-up.

Order Coordination & Store Support

• Work closely with the production team to clarify order requirements and answer questions about active work orders.
• Maintain positive vendor relationships, request quotes, and follow up on in-progress orders.
• Assist with quality control by reviewing order details and completed work for accuracy.
• Support the owner with reports, closeouts, invoices, and daily, weekly, and monthly paperwork.
• Cross-train in other areas to support smooth store operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store.
• Complete in-store training covering front-counter sales, sign products, Key Lines, and procedures outlined in the Owner's Manual.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• A combination of education, training, or work experience that provides the skills needed to succeed in the role.
• Previous customer service or sales experience.
• Sign shop or graphics industry experience is a plus.
• Ability to complete required hiring assessments.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including accurate spelling, grammar, punctuation, and proofreading.
• Comfort with basic math, including fractions, decimals, measurements, and calculator use.
• Ability to read and interpret a ruler.
• Basic sales skills and comfort making outbound customer and prospect calls.
• Computer proficiency, including Windows, Microsoft Office, typing, and data entry.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale or accounting systems is a plus.
• Ability to listen carefully, assess customer needs, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Strong organization, time management, and follow-through.

• Willingness to work occasional overtime when needed.

Physical Requirements

Compensation: $20.00 per hour
