Job summary

American Federal Bank is seeking a self-motivated team player for its Hallock Sales Office. The full-time role focuses on teller and loan document preparation, customer service, and supporting Bankers in a community banking environment.

The position emphasizes relationship-building with clients, adherence to bank policies, and accurate processing of deposits and loans. Experience with Word/Excel is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer relations and communication skills.
• Organizational, delegation, and team-player abilities.
• Ability to learn and navigate consumer, mortgage, and ag lending policies and procedures.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel and basic PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and build long-term client relationships.
• Process deposits, loans, and cash-handling transactions accurately.
• Identify sales opportunities and refer clients to Sales Bankers and Registered Representatives.
• Support consumer and business relationships while ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain operational accuracy and adhere to procedures and reporting requirements.
