Job summary

U-Haul is seeking friendly, energetic individuals to join our team as U-Box Warehouse Workers in a fast-paced environment. You will interact with customers and help meet their storage and moving needs through courteous service and reliable support.

Primary duties include operating forklifts, loading/unloading containers, documenting deliveries, inspecting containers, and maintaining a clean, organized warehouse. We offer training, advancement opportunities and a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Adhere to all local state and federal vehicular regulations while driving.

Responsibilities

• Operate an 8,000-lb propane forklift or forklift trained equipment.
• Load and unload storage containers onto/off truck beds for delivery to storage facilities.
• Ensure timely delivery and provide courteous customer assistance, including sales of support items.
• Prepare and document delivery or pickup of goods and inspect U-Box containers before dispatch and on return.
• Keep warehouse clean, dry and secure; participate in U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
