Job summary

Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance, and Cash Store, part of CNG Holdings, Inc., seek an Assistant Store Manager to lead customer service and ensure regulatory excellence at the store level. You will act as a front-line brand ambassador and supervise daily operations.

Key duties include educating customers on product options, processing transactions, balancing cash, handling inquiries, and escalating issues to leadership as needed. Strong communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year(s) of experience with sales, customer service, and/or cash handling preferred.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in an autonomous environment.
• Must have own personal reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio by presenting all options that meet their needs.
• Escalate issues to store manager, DDO, and corporate office if unable to resolve with the customer.
• Answer telephone inquiries in response to general questions, customer applications, requests, or other issues.
• Perform outbound customer sales, courtesy, and collection calls in compliance with federal regulations and company procedures.
• Respond professionally and accurately to customers, explaining possible solutions and ensuring they feel supported.
• Interact with customers using active listening to confirm or clarify information and diffuse complaints.
• Handle and count currency, cash, and coins, balance cash drawer, and manage deposits.
• Balance batch receipts with store sales reports and resolve over/short discrepancies.
• Perform customer verifications to validate information and process all transactions per policy.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and company policies and procedures.
• Complete compliance trainings on a timely basis.
• Other duties as assigned.
