Job summary

DK Security, Inc. is seeking a part-time Security Officer in Michigan. You will help protect client properties, provide customer service, and maintain a professional security presence on-site.

Shifts include 1st and 2nd, with pay ranging from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour based on experience and location. Responsibilities include observing and reporting, access control, patrols, and emergency response. No armed duties are required; CPR/First Aid/AED certification is preferred or obtainable after

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must pass a drug screen at time of hire and randomly thereafter.
• Cannot have felony convictions per policy; must meet federal contractor requirements.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: assist client staff, visitors, and coworkers professionally.
• Observe and report suspicious activities and incidents.
• Maintain a visible security presence in building lobbies and reception areas.
• Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols as assigned.
• Control access to restricted areas and verify IDs per procedures.
• Uphold safety standards and report safety concerns.
• Assist in emergencies with CPR/First Aid/AED and alert authorities.
• Coordinate with client staff and site supervisor on communications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
