Job summary

DK Security, Inc. in Michigan is seeking security officers for multiple shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd) across Monday to Sunday. The role is unarmed, with a wage of $17.60 per hour.

You will provide customer service, observe and report suspicious activity, maintain security presence in lobbies and control centers, perform patrols, manage access control, and respond to emergencies with CPR/First Aid/AED. Candidates must meet minimum qualifications including high school diploma or GED, pass drug screening,

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Unarmed position; armed work requires CPL or LEOSA.
• Must pass a drug screen and comply with federal marijuana laws.
• No disqualifying felonies or misdemeanors per policy.
• Ability to sit/stand/walk 8–12 hours; lift up to 50 lbs.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification or willingness to obtain.
• English literacy and strong customer service.
• Professional, positive attitude; adhere to policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by assisting staff, visitors, and coworkers with professionalism.
• Observe and report suspicious activities or incidents.
• Maintain a professional security presence in lobbies, reception areas, and control centers.
• Conduct foot/vehicle patrols as assigned.
• Manage access control by verifying IDs and restricting entry to authorized personnel.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with emergency personnel as needed.
• Communicate effectively with client staff and site supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
