Job summary

Belk is seeking an Operations Team Associate to drive sales and deliver a positive customer experience by processing inbound truck deliveries, preparing new merchandise for the floor, and supporting back-of-house organization. The role collaborates with merchandising to place and sign products on the sales floor in an hourly environment.

You will unload cartons, apply sensor tags, assist with facilities tasks, floor sets, price changes, and customer orders.

• Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ownership and initiative in achieving personal goals, store objectives, and daily priorities.
• Efficiently unload cartons from truck deliveries, separate by department, process, remove plastic, and hang items as needed.
• Follow operational processes to enhance productivity and support inventory accuracy.
• Assist with facilities processes, lighting, store maintenance, and housekeeping responsibilities.
• Support merchandising and store fulfillment teams with floor sets, price changes, and picking/packing orders.
• Replenish supplies, maintain cleanliness, and help with store recovery efforts.
• Provide exceptional customer service and help during peak traffic times.
