Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a store associate at the Marshalls store in Jacksonville, NC. You will deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, following loss prevention standards, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to engage with shoppers.
• Flexible schedule to support store needs and peak times.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Able to multi-task across different store areas when needed.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without accommodation.
• Works well with peers and supervisors in a team environment.
• Retail customer experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Model established customer experience practices with customers.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs to customers.
• Accurately ring purchases and returns and handle cash tasks per procedures.
• Maintain merchandising standards and process merchandise for the sales floor.
• Assist in store recovery and maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Support and participate in shrink reduction and loss prevention goals.
