Job summary

Mountain West Bank in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, is seeking a detail-oriented Consumer Loan Servicing Clerk to join our Loan Servicing team. This role supports consumer loan operations by booking, assembling, scanning, and verifying loan documentation, preparing loan documents, and ensuring accurate servicing of consumer loans.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and customer-focused, with strong confidentiality and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of banking policies and procedures.
• 1+ years of experience in an office environment.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine loan maintenance duties such as processing payments, setting up and changing AFTs, CIF changes, HELOC checks, waiving late fees, and correcting loan payments.
• Provide knowledgeable and friendly customer service to branches and customers via phone or email.
• Process consumer loan payoffs and release collateral as needed.
• Book all types of consumer loans and changes in terms within 24 hours of receipt.
• Prepare loan documentation and changes within 24 hours; review files for completeness and accuracy.
