Job summary

Portillo’s in Indiana is hiring team members to greet guests, take orders, and process payments both at the counter and in drive-up/outside positions. You may take phone or catering orders to help with special events, and you will prepare food to high quality standards while keeping a clean, sanitary workspace.

Cook items like Italian beef, burgers, hot dogs, fries, and more, following recipes and Portillo’s standards. Sanitation and safety are emphasized throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Must have worked at Portillo’s for at least one year, averaging a minimum of 20 hours over six months.
• Military veterans are encouraged to apply.
• Flexibility to work nights, outside the kitchen in cold temperatures, and holidays is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take food orders accurately.
• Handle payments and give out orders by calling out numbers.
• Prep and cook menu items to ensure quality and freshness.
• Follow recipes and maintain a clean workspace.
• Adhere to sanitation practices.
• Serve phone and catering orders.
