Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Knowledge of basic math skills
• Customer service experience
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure
• Forklift certification may be required
• Drug test may be required where permitted by state law

Responsibilities

• Connect with customers, understand their projects, recommend products and promote purchases
• Provide customer service that exceeds expectations
• Maintain clean, stocked, safe in-stock areas
• Collaborate with management and team to reach sales goals
• Process checkout using POS system and handle refunds/exchanges per guidelines
• Follow cash, check and credit card procedures and maintain accuracy
• Create price tags and merchandise signs, stock and display items
• Uphold company safety policies and assist in other store areas as needed
