Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers at the check lane.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately and efficiently.
• Operate the POS system and handle cash, checks, cards, SNAP EBT, and loyalty offers per policy.
• Follow loss prevention guidelines and maintain cash handling accuracy.
• Adhere to guidelines for restricted items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator and follow store procedures.
• Stay informed about ads and promotions and apply them at checkout.
• Follow food safety guidelines and safety procedures to protect customers and team.
