Responsibilities

Greet, engage and assist customers.
Process transactions quickly and accurately at the POS.
Handle cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC and loyalty offers per policy.
Maintain control of cash shortages/overages and prevent loss.
Adhere to guidelines on restricted items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
Report pricing discrepancies to Scan Coordinator.
Follow policies for stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
Stay current with ads and promotions.
Follow food safety regulations and safety procedures.
Identify unsafe conditions and notify management, practicing safe operations.
Provide product information and assistance to customers, including those with special needs.
Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment and manage conflicts professionally.
Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
