Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Teller to serve as the first contact for clients at the Phoenix branch. You will perform accurate teller transactions, balance cash drawers, and support nightly deposits while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with bank procedures.

In this role you will deepen client relationships by understanding their financial needs and offering suitable products. AHS or GED is required with 1 year of banking or customer service experience; bilingual candidates are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with Bank policies, procedures, and systems.
• Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and written/verbal instructions.
• Strong relationship-building with clients and associates.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller transactions and cash handling with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Balance cash drawer; process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing.
• Mitigate risk by safekeeping money and prompt accounting or transfer of funds.
• Engage with clients to uncover needs and offer appropriate bank products.
• Adhere to Breakthrough Client Service Standards and Columbia Bank procedures.
