Job summary

Independence Bank is seeking a Full Time Teller in Hawesville, KY. You will perform bank transactions, greet customers, and support daily operations. This role requires Saturday rotation and you cannot work remotely.

You will process deposits, cash checks, promote banking products, and maintain accurate records. The position requires at least 1 year Teller experience and completion of Teller training within 3 months.

Qualifications

• 1 year of teller experience required; customer service experience preferred.
• Independence Bank Teller Certification within 6 months.
• Completion of Teller Fundamentals and Teller Level Up training within three months.

Responsibilities

• Greets all customers and visitors when they enter the location lobby or approach the drive-thru.
• Processes daily transactions including deposits, cashing checks, loan payments, and disbursing cash.
• Cashes checks and payouts, verifying signatures, amounts, and available funds.
• Promotes and sells cashier’s checks and prepaid gift cards.
• Maintains records and answers inquiries about accounts and bank products.
• Balances currency, cash and checks in the cash drawer daily.
• May be required to work drive-thru or float to other locations.
