Responsibilities

• Ensuring customers are served promptly and efficiently in accordance with established bank policies and procedures
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge on bank policies and procedures, including BSA training, to ensure compliance
• Cashing checks and disbursing funds after verifying signatures and sufficiency of funds
• Accepting deposits, confirming accuracy of transactions
• Preparing, verifying, issuing, and other negotiable items in compliance with bank policies
• Entering all transactions in teller system and producing customer receipts
• Accurately balancing cash drawer daily in compliance with bank procedures
• Becoming and maintaining knowledge of bank products to identify opportunities to share information with customers
• Cross-training in other duties to facilitate branch harmony and teamwork (e.g., ATM balancing, ordering branch supplies)
• Safeguarding branch equipment to prevent losses and injuries
• Participating in compliance training and ensuring regulatory compliance within the department
