Job summary

MFA Oil Company is seeking a Big O Sales Advisor to deliver fast, friendly customer service and promote automotive products and services in the store. You will educate customers, process sales, handle warranties and maintain accurate paperwork, while following policy and ensuring safe operations.

Key duties include greeting customers, handling inquiries, recommending maintenance services, recording sales transactions, and supporting store opening/closing tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to learn new concepts and use basic office tools.
• Ability to operate a computer and office productivity machinery.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Sales abilities.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, percentages, making change).
• Valid driver's license.
• English language proficiency for communication with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Monitor customer service area and host waiting customers, providing fast and friendly service.
• Handle complaints courteously and efficiently per company policy.
• Inspect vehicles and review maintenance requirements to prioritize products and services.
• Promote sales by explaining benefits, implementing promotions, and using suggestive selling.
• Prepare sales documents such as warranties, service agreements, and recording of tire sales.
• Conduct accurate sales transactions and report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Manage ticket averages and profitability; assist in meeting company expectations.
• Support store operations with opening/closing tasks, inventory, merchandising and reporting.
