Job summary

DARCARS of Fairfax in Virginia is seeking an Automotive Valet to play a key role in customer satisfaction. You will manage vehicle flow, greet customers, assist with parking and retrieving vehicles, and support service operations.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Excellent communication with customers and staff.
• Commitment to customer service.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to follow instructions and read policy documents.
• Ability to stand long periods in varied weather.
• Must lift at least 30 lbs.
• Detailing experience is a plus.
• Ability to operate manual vehicles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greets every customer with a smile.
• Directs customers to their destinations when parking or retrieving vehicles.
• Assist with service write-up and tagging of customer vehicles.
• Move client vehicles to and from the shop as needed.
• Provide shuttle service to customers when requested.
• Report safety or policy concerns to management.
• Maintain cleanliness of service area.
• Assist in dealer exchanges and other duties as assigned.
• Follow dealership policies and procedures.
