Job summary

DARCARS of Rockville is now hiring an Automotive Valet to manage lane flow and assist with vehicle movement in a fast-paced dealership environment.

You will greet customers, assist with parking and retrieval, and support service write-ups while upholding high standards of customer service and safety. This entry-level position emphasizes reliability and teamwork at our Rockville location.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Strong communication with customers and DARCARS employees.
• Commitment to customer service.
• High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Must be at least eighteen years of age.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and policy documents.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist for long periods in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
• Detailing experience is a plus.
• Ability to operate manual vehicles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and direct to destinations for parking or retrieval.
• Assist with service write-up and tagging of customer vehicles.
• Support vehicle flow within the dealership as service tickets are generated.
• Move client vehicles between the shop and customer areas as needed.
• Provide shuttle service to customers when requested.
• Report safety or operational concerns to management.
• Maintain cleanliness of service area and keep floors dry.
