Job summary

DARCARS of Silver Spring is seeking an Automotive Valet to support customer satisfaction and the efficient flow of vehicles at the dealership. The role involves lane management, greeting customers, and guiding vehicles to parking or retrieval areas.

Qualifications include a valid driver’s license, strong communication skills, and a HS diploma or GED. The position requires standing long periods and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs; detailing and manual vehicle operation are a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Strong communication skills with customers and DARCARS employees.
• Requires a High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Must be at least eighteen years of age.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions and policy documents.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and direct them to parking or retrieve their vehicles.
• Assist with service write-up and tagging of customer vehicles.
• Move client vehicles to and from the shop to support service visits.
• Provide shuttle service to customers when requested.
• Maintain cleanliness of service area and report safety concerns.
• Assist in dealer exchanges and other duties as assigned.
