Tompkins Community Bank is seeking a diligent Teller to assist customers with deposits, withdrawals and payments at our Boyertown branch. You will balance cash drawers, process cash, verify funds and promote branch services with accuracy and courtesy.

The ideal candidate has 6 months to 1 year of cash handling experience, excellent customer service and strong accuracy. This on-site role includes Saturdays and evenings as required and offers benefits and stability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year of cash handling experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to follow precise directions and operate teller equipment.

Responsibilities

• Accept and process deposit transactions.
• Cash checks and process withdrawals within policy and funds availability.
• Sell Cashier’s Checks and redeem EE Savings Bonds.
• Handle loan payments and credit card payments; process night/maily/ATM deposits.
• Balance cash drawer daily and prepare settlement reports.
• Maintain cash and operate ATM/currency machines as needed.
• Refer customers to appropriate team members for financial needs.
• Work Saturdays and evenings as required; may float to other branches.
