Dollar General is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations with a customer-first focus. Responsibilities include supervising staff, merchandising, deposits, and cashier duties while protecting assets and minimizing losses.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, inventory control, and adherence to company policies. Expect to assist with scheduling and training, and to help manage the store in the Store Manager's absence.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent expected.
• Experience in retail or supervisory role preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide customer service leadership; assist customers and operate the cash register and scanner.
• Open and close the store at least two days per week.
• Assist manager with scheduling, training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Manage merchandise receiving, stocking, restocking, and displays.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, manage damages, markdowns, and paperwork.
• Assist with planograms and ensure presentation per guidance.
• Support cash control, refunds, overrides, deposits, and till counts.
