Job summary

ALDI USA store locations seek a Part-Time Store Associate to merchandise and stock products, cashier, and keep the store clean. You will help deliver a great customer experience by working with the ALDI team and following store policies.

Starting wage is $19.50 per hour with wage increases to $20.00, $20.50, and $21.50 over the next years. Average hours are under 30 per week, and full-time benefits are available for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Must provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate store equipment and POS systems.
• Ability to follow ALDI policies and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills customer service principles and escalates concerns as needed.
• Inform management of loss due to damaged merchandise.
• Use POS to scan and process purchases; report scanning issues.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures.
• Open additional lanes to ensure efficient checkout.
• Stock shelves and merchandising plans to maximize sales.
• Complete curbside pickup orders and verify contents.
• Maintain zone and merchandising standards at all times.
• Assist management in achieving operations and loss goals.
• Ensure a safe working environment and proper equipment maintenance.
• Follow inventory procedures and product handling guidelines.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to company standards.
