Job summary

Cavender's is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver Best of the WEST customer service, greet customers, and help them find products that meet their needs. You will build relationships, suggest merchandise, and maintain a clean, organized store while contributing to daily operations and company standards.

The role requires the ability to lift merchandise, work in a fast-paced retail environment, and communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to sell merchandise while meeting individual and store performance goals.
• Lift, move, and position merchandise regularly.
• Safely use store equipment, including handheld devices and dollies.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, identify needs, and provide knowledgeable, personalized service.
• Build relationships and recommend products to meet customer needs.
• Maintain knowledge of merchandise, promotions, and current Western and workwear trends.
• Stock merchandise, recover displays, and perform housekeeping tasks to keep the floor appealing.
• Ensure displays are signed, stocked, and located per company standards.
• Prioritize safety and report concerns to management.
• Work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Support merchandising updates, price changes, and inventory tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
