Job summary

Cavender's is hiring a Sales Associate to deliver Best of the WEST customer service by building relationships with customers and helping them find products that meet their needs. You will maintain product knowledge, use effective selling techniques, and support daily store operations while following company policies.

As part of Cavender's team you will greet customers, assist with product selection, and keep the sales floor organized and inviting.

Qualifications

• Provide exceptional customer service and build relationships in a fast paced retail setting.
• Effectively sell merchandise while meeting individual and store performance goals.
• Regularly lift, move and position merchandise during shifts.
• Safely operate store equipment per policy and age requirements.
• Maintain English comprehension for daily tasks and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and engage with them throughout their shopping experience.
• Identify customer needs, recommend products and provide personalized service.
• Utilize selling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while prioritizing the customer.
• Maintain knowledge of merchandise, promotions and current fashion trends.
• Assist customers with product selection, special orders, and locating items in-store.
• Keep sales floor clean, stocked, and visually appealing, and recover displays as needed.
• Ensure merchandise is properly displayed and signed according to company standards.
• Follow store policies, stay attentive to safety, and report concerns to management.
• Attend to merchandising updates, price changes, and inventory tasks as assigned.
• Undertake any other duties as needed.
