Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Store Associate for TJ Maxx in the USA. You will deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with shoppers, maintaining a clean store, and supporting various store operations as needed.

Responsibilities include ringing purchases, promoting credit and loyalty programs, following merchandising standards, and helping with loss prevention and safety. A flexible schedule and strong customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
Strong communication and organizational abilities with attention to detail.
Capable of multitasking across store floor and back-room tasks.
Ability to lift heavy objects with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer.
Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
Maintains merchandising standards and processes merchandise for the sales floor.
Participates in store recovery and maintains cleanliness and safety.
Supports loss prevention and follows labor laws, policies, and procedures.
