Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a customer-focused associate at TJ Maxx to deliver a highly satisfying shopping experience. You will engage with customers, maintain a clean store environment, and support store operations across multiple areas as needed.

Responsibilities include ringing transactions, promoting loyalty programs, following procedures, and contributing to a positive store culture. Ability to lift items and adapt to changing priorities is required.

Responsibilities

• Models established customer experience practices with customers.
• Upholds store culture with honesty, integrity and respect.
• Accurately rings purchases/returns and handles cash per procedures.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintains merchandising standards and prepares merchandise for the floor.
• Participates in store recovery and cleanliness of the sales floor.
• Provides and accepts feedback and adheres to labor laws and safety standards.
• Supports shrink reduction goals and safety initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
