Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a Store Associate to merchandise and stock products, cashier, and maintain store cleanliness. You’ll work with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a smooth shopping experience.

The role is full-time with 30+ hours weekly and starts at $21.00 per hour, with scheduled increases over five years. Candidates must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Full benefits for eligible employees are provided.

Qualifications

• Must provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate store equipment such as cash registers, pallet jacks, handheld devices, etc.
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Informs store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Properly utilizes the POS system to scan and process purchases; informs management of scanning concerns.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Follows the line policy and opens additional check lanes as required for efficient checkout.
• Stocks shelves and displays neatly following merchandising planograms to maximize sales.
• Completes curbside pickup orders accurately and ensures timely delivery to customers’ vehicles.
• Maintains zone standards and merchandising standards at all times.
• Assists store management in achieving operational efficiency and loss goals.
• Complies with all company policies and maintains a safe working environment.
