Job summary

ALDI USA store associates are responsible for merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to enhance the customer experience. You will work with the ALDI team to deliver outstanding service in a full-time role.

The position offers starting wage of $19.00 per hour with annual wage increases through Year 5, and average hours of 30+ per week. Full-time benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Prompt and courteous customer service is required.
• Ability to operate the POS system and cash handling procedures.
• Clear communication in writing and speaking.
• Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Models and follows customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management.
• Informs management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Uses POS to scan and process purchases and reports scanning issues.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Opens additional check lanes to improve checkout efficiency.
• Stocks shelves and displays neatly following planograms to maximize sales.
• Completes curbside pickup orders accurately and timely.
• Maintains zone and merchandising standards at all times.
• Supports management in achieving operational efficiency goals.
• Supports loss prevention efforts and hazard mitigation.
• Complies with all company policies and processes.
