Ocean State Job Lot (OSJL) is seeking a Store Associate to enhance the customer experience by operating the cash register, assisting customers, and keeping shelves stocked and visually appealing. You will unload deliveries, promote loyalty programs and offers, and maintain displays while following safety protocols and merchandising standards.

Qualifications

• Basic math and reading skills are required.
• Legible handwriting as well as good verbal and written communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a cash register, handle transactions accurately and assist customers with product inquiries, location, and purchases.
• Unload deliveries according to Company processes and prepare merchandise for the sales floor.
• Maintain displays and restock assigned areas to meet OSJL merchandising standards.
• Promote company initiatives like donations, loyalty programs and special offers.
• Collaborate with team to achieve goals and communicate opportunities for improvement to store leadership.
• Follow safety protocols and keep the store neat, organized and safe.
