Ocean State Job Lot (OSJL) is hiring a Store Associate to enhance the customer experience. This role operates a cash register, assists customers, keeps shelves stocked, and processes deliveries in line with company policies.

You will build rapport, handle transactions, support loyalty programs, maintain displays, unload deliveries, and follow safety protocols to keep the store neat, organized, and welcoming for shoppers.

Qualifications

• Basic math and reading skills required.
• Legible handwriting and strong verbal/written communication.
• Work in a climate-controlled environment with physical tasks daily.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs regularly.
• Reasonable accommodations may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate a cash register and handle transactions accurately.
• Assist customers with product inquiries, locations, and purchases.
• Restock and maintain displays to OSJL merchandising standards.
• Unload deliveries and prepare merchandise for the sales floor.
