Job summary

Connolly's Do It Best – Dupont Village in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Sales Associate / Cashier to greet customers, help them find products, and process transactions. You will stock, assist with inventory tasks, and promote loyalty programs across departments.

The role requires strong customer service, experience with POS systems, and a team-player attitude. A flexible schedule including nights and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with computers and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, greet them, and assist them to create a positive shopping experience.
• Help customers find products, provide recommendations, and offer project solutions.
• Stock and organize merchandise to keep the store clean and presentable.
• Answer phone calls politely and provide timely information.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory records accuracy.
• Upsell items and promote the Do It Best rewards program.
• Process checkouts accurately with proper cash handling.
• Continue product knowledge across departments to identify selling opportunities.
• Address customer issues with management support.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Complete training to stay up-to-date on products and policies.
• Assist in other departments as needed to provide great service.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
