Responsibilities

• Smiles and greets customers, answers customer questions, and helps resolve customer concerns promptly in a polite and professional manner.
• Identifies and shops customer orders to ensure accurate and fresh order delivery.
• Operates front end scanning equipment and register, bags merchandise efficiently, and places items in the cart.
• Contacts customers by phone to address questions or concerns.
• Operates console and picker devices to ensure accuracy.
• Keeps knowledge of weekly ads, promotions, and store layout to answer questions.
• Ensures accurate transactions including cash, checks, electronic payments, and coupons; follows security and PPE guidelines.
• Maintains sanitation in the department and ensures health/OSHA compliance.
• Cooperates with coworkers and supervisors to keep department/store functioning smoothly.
• May assist in other departments.
