Responsibilities

• Smiles and greets customers, answers customer questions and helps resolve customer concerns promptly, in a polite and professional manner.
• Operates front end scanning equipment and cash register, bags merchandise, and places items in the cart.
• Maintains accuracy during transactions and follows policies on payment methods and discounts.
• Maintains knowledge of weekly ads and store layout to assist customers.
• Cleans work areas and maintains sanitary conditions following health and OSHA guidelines.
• Collaborates with coworkers and supervisors to ensure smooth department and store operation.
• Uses Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by the company.
