Qualifications

• Basic customer service skills and ability to greet and assist customers.
• Experience with front-end checkout and proper bagging procedures preferred but not required.
• Ability to read weekly ads and promotions and answer questions about store layout.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and respond to questions in a polite, professional manner.
• Identify and prepare customer orders for timely delivery of accurate and fresh items.
• Operate front-end scanners and registers, bag items, and manage payments and coupons.
• Ensure compliance with cash handling, security, and store policies including tobacco and alcohol rules.
• Maintain sanitation and housekeeping standards in the department as per schedules.
