Job summary

Weis Markets in Kentucky is seeking a Customer Experience Associate to greet customers, answer questions, and resolve concerns with professionalism. You will operate the front-end scanning equipment and cash register, bag merchandise, and ensure accurate transactions while following store policies on tobacco and alcohol.

You’ll contribute to a clean, well‑maintained department, follow health and OSHA guidelines, and cooperate with teammates to provide a seamless shopping experience for customers

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED or currently working towards.
• No prior experience required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and resolve questions or concerns in a polite, professional manner.
• Operate front-end scanning equipment and cash register; bag merchandise and assist customers.
• Ensure accurate transactions and proper cash handling; follow policies on tobacco and alcohol sales.
• Maintain knowledge of weekly ads and promotions for customer inquiries.
• Keep department clean and meeting health and OSHA guidelines; dispose of trash properly.
• Collaborate with coworkers and supervisors to ensure smooth department and store operations.
• Use provided PPE and follow safety guidelines.
• May assist in other departments as needed.
