Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking a front-end associate to greet customers, answer questions, and resolve concerns in a polite, professional manner. You will identify and fulfill customer orders, operate scanning equipment and the register, bag merchandise, and contact customers by phone when needed.

Responsibilities also include maintaining store cleanliness, staying informed on weekly ads, promotions, and store layout, and ensuring accurate transactions with proper funds.

Qualifications

• Completed or working towards a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers, answers questions, and helps resolve customer concerns promptly in a polite and professional manner.
• Identifies and shops customer orders to ensure accurate and fresh orders.
• Operates front end scanning equipment and register, bags merchandise efficiently, and places items in carts.
• Contacts customers by phone to address questions or concerns.
• Maintains knowledge of weekly ads, promotions, and store layout to answer questions.
• Ensures accurate transactions and appropriate funds are collected, following security measures and cash drawer procedures.
• Maintains sanitation and cleanliness of the department and general work areas.
• Adheres to PPE usage and safety guidelines; may assist in other departments as needed.
