Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Communicate department and job specific information to associates.
• Collaborate with associates and promote teamwork to help achieve store goals.
• Create a welcoming environment by answering questions about products sold within the department.
• Gain knowledge of products and respond to questions with recommendations.
• Maintain compliance records and paperwork for company and federal requirements.
• Monitor and control supply expenses for the department.
• Manage cash control, sales and cash items and records for the store.
• Schedule Front-end associates to ensure proper department coverage.
• Assist management in budgeting, P&L reviews and action on financial reports.
• Develop and implement a department business plan to achieve results.
• Create and execute sales promotions with store management.
• Stay current with ads and promotional plans.
