Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Front-end Supervisor to lead associates, manage the front-end department, and ensure impeccable customer service. You will collaborate with store management to meet goals, control expenses, and maintain regulatory compliance.

You will schedule staff, handle promotions, and stay aligned with ads while fostering a welcoming store environment and safe practices for customers and team members.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math is required.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Retail or Customer Service experience.
• Front-end experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Front-end Supervisor experience is a plus.
• Second language: speaking, reading and/or writing.

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Communicate information to associates.
• Collaborate with associates to reach store goals.
• Create an welcoming environment by answering product questions.
• Know products and respond to customer inquiries and make suggestions.
• Maintain records for compliance including Anti-money Laundering.
• Monitor department expenses and cash controls.
• Schedule front-end associates for coverage.
• Assist management with budget, P&L reviews, and action on financial reports.
• Develop and implement a department business plan.
• Create and execute promotions with store management.
• Stay current with ads and promotional plans.
• Monitor and control department expenses.
