Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or a combination of relevant education and experience.
• Six months cashier experience to work at Customer Service Desk.
• Must be at least 18 years old (19 in Idaho/Alaska if selling tobacco).
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work weekends, any shift, and overtime as needed.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and encourage excellent customer service.
• Perform cashier functions: open/close register, ring sales, tender transactions, bag merchandise, money drops, and produce code knowledge.
• Maintain price discrepancy logs and cleanliness of checkstand area to standards.
• Answer phones and comply with corporate policies.
• Promote company initiatives and ensure EAS tags are deactivated or removed at POS.
• Process refunds, exchanges, money orders, transfers, bill pay, gift cards, and vendor reports.
• Provide lottery service and licenses where permitted; administer lost and found.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment and manage conflict calmly.
