Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions about store products.
• Count and balance daily cash and paper assets.
• Prepare cash and check deposits.
• Prepare daily and weekly sales and cash reports.
• Report sales and transactions to Store Manager or Division Cash Management Office.
• Maintain Kronos and Timekeeping and finalize weekly payroll.
• Assist management with administrative duties.
• Answer phones and communicate with staff and customers.
• Document daily cash shortages/overages per policy.
• Follow policies for stamps, money orders, gift certificates, lottery, Western Union, etc.
• Support safety programs and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Notify management of accidents and safety risks or illegal activity.
• Collaborate with team to encourage teamwork.
• Adhere to laws and company guidelines.
• Work well in high-paced, sometimes stressful environments.
• Manage conflicts calmly and cooperatively.
• Maintain honesty and integrity in handling customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues.
• Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
