Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Courtesy Clerk in Des Moines, IA (Fleur Drive) for a part-time position. You’ll greet customers, bag purchases, help carry items to cars, stock and clean the store, and assist in various departments as needed to keep the store welcoming.

No education or prior experience required; training provided. This role keeps you active, requires good teamwork and reliable attendance, and is subject to a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers and assisting them.
• Package purchases and transport to customers' vehicles.
• Stock and rotate merchandise, clean shelves and maintain shelf tags.
• Clean store areas including registers, restrooms, break room and backroom.
• Help train new courtesy clerks and assist in other areas as needed.
• Shovel, salt and sand walkways as needed.
