Job summary

Michaels is seeking a store team member for the Lenexa, KS location. You will assist customers, handle checkout, and support merchandising, stock, and store recovery to keep the shop well-presented and in stock.

You’ll engage shoppers with the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments, participate in omni-channel processes, and work across framing-related tasks as needed. A customer-focused attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including BOPIS and SFS
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance, including returns and go-backs
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; maintain a positive image
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
