Duchess is hiring a Cashier - Duchess Team Member at E. Broad St., Columbus. Join a team that focuses on friendly, efficient service and making sure customers have what they need while maintaining a clean store.

You will handle transactions, assist customers, stock shelves, and follow safety rules for tobacco, alcohol, and lottery sales. Flexible FT or PT hours, with benefits for full-time staff and opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling
• Previous retail or food service experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a smile and friendly conversation
• Process transactions efficiently using modern POS systems (cash, credit, debit, mobile payments)
• Maintain a clean and organized store—inside and out
• Stock shelves and manage inventory to ensure customers find what they need
• Follow safety and compliance regulations for tobacco, alcohol, lottery and other sales
• Promote Duchess Crown Card Rewards our loyalty program offering the best prices and offers to customers
• Use technology to assist customers, track inventory, and improve efficiency
• Other Qualifications include, but are not limited to walking, standing, squatting, lifting, carrying, and reaching. Ability to work in demanding circumstances including variable temperatures, indoors and outdoors.
