Job summary

Duchess is seeking a friendly, reliable Cashier - Duchess Team Member for our Worthington location. You will welcome customers, process transactions with POS systems, and keep the store clean and stocked.

You’ll follow safety guidelines for tobacco and other products while promoting the Duchess Crown Card Rewards to customers. We offer both FT and PT opportunities with flexible scheduling, plus benefits for full-time employees, including health coverage and 401k.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling
• Previous retail or food service experience is a plus, but not required
• Comfort with technology – we use modern tools to make work easier

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a smile and friendly conversation
• Process transactions efficiently using modern POS systems (cash, credit, debit, mobile payments)
• Maintain a clean and organized store—inside and out
• Stock shelves and manage inventory to ensure customers find what they need
• Follow safety and compliance regulations for tobacco, alcohol, lottery and other sales
• Promote Duchess Crown Card Rewards our loyalty program offering the best prices and offers to customers
• Use technology to assist customers, track inventory, and improve efficiency
