Job summary

Kroger Lake Forest is seeking a friendly Cashier/Checker to deliver outstanding customer experiences in a fast-paced environment. You will greet customers, assist with purchases, and process transactions quickly and accurately.

Responsibilities include handling cash and various tenders, following store policies, staying compliant with safety and food-safety standards, and maintaining a clean, welcoming checkout area. Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk is preferred.

• Knowledge of basic math for cash handling and transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers at the checkout.

• Handle cash, checks, credit/debit and other tender types per policy.
• Adhere to cash-handling limits and loss-prevention guidelines.
